 The Empire of\nSunilian States has been watching with great concern the emergence of a global\nhealth crisis due to the emergence of a novel coronavirus (COVID-19)\noriginating from the unsanitary conditions of a wet market in the Chinese city\nof Wuhan. It has also seen with concern the delayed and often inadequate or\nmisplaced reactions by the international community. While the Empire of\nSunilian States\u2019 provinces have been acting individually and highly effectively\nto do their part in combatting the spread of this pandemic, this communication will\noutline a national response to this threat. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Currently, there are no confirmed or suspected cases<\/strong>\nof COVID-19 in the Empire of Sunilian States or among its citizens abroad. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

By imperial decree<\/strong>, the Imperial Ministry for\nInternal Affairs (KMfI) has created the Office of Public Health<\/strong>, which has\nbeen tasked with all matter pertaining to the physical and mental well-being of\nSunilian citizens and residents. It will be leading Sunilia\u2019s response to the\ncoronavirus pandemic under the guidance of the Emperor Linus I. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Trade<\/strong> within Sunilia as well as internationally has\nnot been affected<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The supply of essential goods and medicines<\/strong> remains\nensured<\/strong> in all Sunilian provinces. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Citizens and residents of Sunilia are advised to keep\ninformed about the situation<\/strong>, and practice self-isolation<\/strong> when\nnecessary; avoid unnecessary contact<\/strong> with individuals who may be\ninfected or who may have had contact with infected people. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The borders<\/strong> of the Empire of Sunilian States remain\nopen<\/strong> and immigration\/emigration procedures continue as normal. Travelers\nmay be questioned about their health and temperatures be taken on immigration. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
